A NOTICE ON COVID-19 Message from CMHA National
We’re in uncharted waters with COVID-19, but we’re all in the same boat. We may not be able to be together, but you are not alone.
How we are all experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic changes every day. As with so many upcoming events, we are unable to predict at this moment what Ride Don’t Hide 2020 will look like. But we remain committed to providing a chance to connect – to our own mental health, to each other, to our communities and to the nationwide movement to bring mental health into the open.
We are working hard to find ways to keep our riders, donors, volunteers, and staff safe while ensuring that Ride Don’t Hide is an inspiring and rewarding experience for you. Stay tuned for details on a new way to bring mental health into the open – on your bike, in your living room, on your smart phone or wherever you are.
Because now more than ever, we need to show that – even when we’re physically distant – no one should have to struggle alone.
Keep well and stay safe. RIDE DON’T HIDE
Ride Don’t Hide is a nationwide fundraising bike ride that brings mental health out into the open. With 10,000 riders and hundreds of volunteers, it’s the largest Canadian event of its kind and raises more than $2 million each year for the Canadian Mental Health Association!
Ride Don’t Hide is a chance to connect – to your own mental health, to your community and to the nationwide movement to bring mental health into the open. When we hide our mental health, we can’t get the support or help we need and deserve. Ride Don’t Hide brings our families, friends, workplaces and local communities together to say that mental health is important and that supporting each other is key. Because we all deserve to feel well.
Without the contribution from our sponsors, this event would not have been such a great success.
A big thank you from everyone at Canadian Mental Health Association, Kamloops Branch.
