THANK YOU!
When we had to cancel the in-person Ride Don’t Hide this year, we didn’t know what to expect of the next few months. We were facing self-isolation, local businesses closing, and national business starting layoffs. We were facing a tragic loss of funding at a time when the need and demand for CMHA’s mental health programs and services were increasing. We were facing a fragmented, isolated and concerned community.
We didn’t know what to expect, to be honest.
But you blew us away. Ride Don’t Hide virtually raised more than $600,000 to deliver mental health programs and services in communities across Canada, needed now more than ever.
Your commitment to ride and not hide, your commitment to bring mental health into the open, your commitment to raise funds to ensure that no one has to ride alone—you are beyond inspirational. Ride Don’t Hide riders are some of the most passionate, dedicated and courageous mental health advocates in the country.
A global pandemic can’t stop you. As a virtual rider, you took it on yourself to stand up and show the world that no one has to ride alone.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You.
